Irene Muñoz
Irene Muñoz León has a degree in medicine and surgery from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Valladolid, a medical specialist in psychiatry, a Ph.
(University of Valladolid, 2015), master's degree in psychotherapy (University of Alcalá de Henares, 2011-2014) and master's degree in group psychotherapy (Madrid, 2017-2020).
During her training she did several rotations at the Hospital Institute of Psychoanalysis of Hospital Sainte Anne in Paris with which she is still linked today.
She is a teaching tutor at the Hospital Universitario Río Hortega where she carries out her main
where she carries out her main assistance activity. Professor of the master "Psychopathology and introduction to psychoanalysis" at the University of Valladolid.
Co-author of more than 120 communications to congresses,
books or book chapters and more than 20 articles indexed in journals such as Pain Medicine, Journal Headache and Pain or Headache, in which she studies the patient with psychosomatic pathology.
